Артикул: BM-553

We present the new Immunoassay Analyzer for veterinary HEALVET. It is an immunofluorescence analyzer for the detection and quantification of hormones, PCR and tumor markers.

The HEALVET works with individual immunofluorescence plaques, with total blood, serum or plasma.

Available tests
The following tests are available at the launch:
Progesterone
Cortisol
T4
CDW (C reactive protein)
TSH
FSAA (Feline amyloid serum A)
Dimer D
Troponin
Nt-NTPROBNP
HbA1c
AFP
Cea

Progesterone:
Test for the control of the ovulatory cycle of the animals. This test allows you to predict ovulation periods and determine the best times for breeding.

Cortisol:
For the determination of the levels of this hormone inblood. This test has a double function. The first is the detection of diseases related to the adrenal function (eg Cushing’s syndrome) and the second is the evaluation of the efficacy of corticosteroid treatments that the veterinarian applies to animals by measuring at different times after DL treatment start.

T4:
For the evaluation of thyroid function. It allows the detection of hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism, disease control and response to treatment.

TSH:

A Test for the detection of hypothyroidism. It is the most effective test for the diagnosis of this disease.

Cdw:
Protein C Reactive Canine. For the detection and monitoring of inflammatory processes in dogs such as those that occur in case of infection. It also allowsto evaluate the efficacy of the treatment.
It is necessary to clarify that there are many tests for human PCR. These do not serve for dogs, you need to use a specific test as in this case.

FSAA:

Amyloid to feline serum is equivalent to PCR in cats. It is a marker of inflammatory processes in cats, as well as evaluation of the evolution of these processes and control of relapses. It is also used for post-surgical monitoring.

Dimer D:

Used as a marker of venous thrombosis or pulmonary embolism. Rapid diagnosis is essential to minimize the risk of thromboembolic complications

Troponin (CTnI):

This is a marker of myocardial injury. Due to the high specificity and the long duration of elevated levels has become the most used marker in the diagnosis and evaluation of acute myocardial infarction.

Nt-NTPROBNP:

The test is used for the diagnosis, prognosis and evaluation of heart failure. In addition, it is an indicator of risk for acute coronary syndrome.

HbA1c:

glycosylated hemoglobin. Marker for the evaluation of blood glucose levels over the last 6-8 weeks. Traditionally veterinarians have used the fructosamine test for economic reasons, but are equivalent tests and HbA1c allows better control as it indicates the presence of glucose for a longer period.

AFP:

Tumor marker for the diagnosis of liver cancer, testicles and ovaries. It can also be used as a marker for the control of liver diseases.

CEA:

Carcinoembriónico antigen. For the detection and monitoring of colon cancer, although it can also be a marker of other types of cancer.
